Not the wine lists, and not the hotels — though our guests are generous about both. What they write about is the people. The winemakers who opened their cellars, the hosts who felt like family by the end of the week, and the travellers they arrived beside and left as friends.

An amazing trip we will never forget.
Had been wanting to travel to Spain for years but always put it off, worried that the planning process would be too daunting. Thanks to the Amble team, we were able to have an amazing trip we will never forget, without having to worry about doing all the research and work that often comes with travelling. The intimate and personal details added to each experience were what made the tour unforgettable.
From early morning seaside yoga, to hiking through the vineyards and up to breathtaking views at Montserrat, we were treated to incredible days and delicious meals and of course CAVA!
Our accommodation was spectacular and only added to the luxurious feel of this one of a kind holiday. The team helped answer all of our questions, took time to inform and share all their knowledge about the area, wine and food.

Amazing describes everything about our trip to Spain. From the one of a kind stay in Sant Pere de Ribes, the curated wine tours in the surrounding region of Catalunya, the dining experiences in Sitges and at the hotel, to our tour guides. We had such an amazing time experiencing and exploring this region of Spain.
The hotel was incredible. Every time we sat down for a meal, it was an amazing experience. But what set this trip apart from every other trip we’ve been on was the staff involved with Amble. The love and the passion they have for the region showed in everything they did for us during our stay. They were like family by the end of the trip.
Amble Journeys gave us an experience of a lifetime. We plan on booking another trip as soon as we can.

My wife and I booked our vacation with Amble Journeys, and it was easily the best experience we could have asked for. It was an all inclusive experience but with real local texture that made it feel like we were guests visiting family. We were able to golf and kayak the coast along with seeing the region in a more intimate, non touristy manner.

A trip of a lifetime.
This trip is a journey through wine, food and exploring the Catalan culture.
From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were immersed into a different era. The hotel was gorgeous, keeping with the historical architecture of a simpler time but with all the comforts and modern upgrades. Whether it was for meals, cocktail hour or just hanging out and going for a dip in the pool. This is also where we enjoyed the traditional flamenco entertainment. It was so much fun!
The sommelier experts, Xavi and his team, were so proud to represent their Catalonia region and they guided us on a Cava and wine journey that was so detailed and exciting to learn about. Their knowledge of wines is priceless. Then, just to blow our minds more, they paired wines with different foods. Wow. What a full experience.
We visited wineries and a Cava cave. Nearby is a quaint little beach town called Sitges that has great beach fronts, shopping and so many restaurants. Sitges has its own vibe. I loved trying the traditional tapas bars. We were there during the Santa Tecla Festival where there was a street party, parade and fireworks. It was exciting to see the crowds of people, locals and tourists, enjoying the evening with so much enthusiasm. Never a dull moment.
This trip was so well organised. I left Catalonia feeling I had a better understanding of the history of the region, the culture and of course, the CAVA! Like I said, a trip of a lifetime.

A special experience for anyone passionate about exploring new culinary frontiers.
I recently had the pleasure of joining an Amble wine and food holiday, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with their attention to detail and dedication to providing their customers with an unforgettable experience.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the Amble team with warmth and hospitality. The hotel was all at once spectacular and serene.
Our itinerary was carefully curated to include visits to some of the most innovative vineyards and incredible wineries in the region, where we had the opportunity to taste world class wines across the region’s diverse offerings. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable about the local geography and viniculture, engaging with the group along the way at the relative levels of each guest.
In addition to the wine tastings, we also had the chance to sample some of the finest local cuisine. Our guides were able to provide us with insights into the local ingredients and cooking techniques and provided pairings that enhanced the experience.
The activities were well paced, balancing wineries and local food experiences with moderate walks through the local fields and vines, with time exploring the cultural centres and immersing ourselves in local festivities.
I loved the opportunity to meet my fellow travellers, each with such diverse backgrounds and lives but who all shared a love of new experiences, great food and wine.
Overall, I would highly recommend an Amble holiday. This is a special experience for anyone who is passionate about exploring new culinary frontiers and experiencing the rich legacy of world class wineries of the region. Whether you’re a seasoned wine connoisseur or simply someone who enjoys good food and drink, Amble has an incredible experience to offer everyone.

A stress free way of immersing in local culture, in luxury.
I thoroughly enjoyed and relaxed for a week in a beautiful hotel in Spain with a spacious and private room to relax in after our daily adventures.
The food was plentiful, traditional and exceptional. I loved every dish and certainly did not go hungry. We learnt how to cook some traditional dishes and were educated in many different wine experiences. Definitely a key part of the trip to always have a full glass of traditional Spanish delicious wines.
The activities were well planned and gave insight into the culture and surrounding countryside. Yoga in the morning set me up for the day with an exceptional instructor.
Overall the week was relaxing and full, a great mix of time to relax in a stunning hotel and eat and drink in some stunning locations with carefully thought out menus and wine pairings.
I would absolutely recommend this trip to food and wine lovers. It gives you a stress free way of immersing in local culture in luxury. All you need to do is take your flight and the rest is taken care of.
