Tour Itinerary

Oaxaca is a place where food, craft, and tradition come together in unforgettable ways. Spend your days exploring vibrant markets, cooking with local experts, tasting artisanal mezcal, and meeting the makers behind the region’s most celebrated crafts — all while enjoying a boutique hotel stay in the city’s historic center.

  • Arrival & Welcome Dinner
    Arrive in Oaxaca and enjoy private hotel transfers. Settle in before joining the group for welcome cocktails and dinner.

  • Markets & Cooking Class
    Explore Oaxaca’s vibrant markets with a local expert, then dive into a hands-on cooking class in the charming Jalatlaco neighborhood.

  • Black Clay Pottery & Alebrijes
    Visit San Bartolo Coyotepec to learn black clay pottery traditions. Enjoy lunch in an open air setting of rustic wood-fire cooking that celebrates the land of the seasons and the soul of Southern Mexico. After lunch you will create your own alebrije in San Martín Tilcajete. In the evening we will enjoy dinner at one of Oaxaca’s most iconic restaurants.

  • Textiles, Chocolate & Mezcal
    Travel to Teotitlán del Valle for a weaving and natural dye demonstration. Experience a chocolate-making workshop before enjoying a private mezcal tasting and lunch at a family-run, small batch distillery where each bottle tells the story of generations dedicated to preserving this artisanal craft. For dinner we will head to restaurant where they support local consumption with all products coming from their own garden or local producers.

  • Monte Albán & Traditional Cooking
    Visit Monte Albán with a private guide, followed by a traditional cooking experience with a local family in Atzompa. We will then head back to the hotel where you have the rest of the day to enjoy Oaxaca at your own leisure.

  • Chef Table & Street Food
    Savor a chef’s table experience celebrating the bold flavours of Tehuantepec Isthums Cuisine, followed by a relaxing afternoon at leisure. We will then head out in the evening for a guided street food tour through downtown Oaxaca, tasting authentic local specialties and soaking in the city’s vibrant culinary energy.

  • Leisure, Mezcal & Farewell Dinner
    Enjoy a relaxed morning before an immersive mezcal tasting at a local artisanal distillery. In the evening we will gather for a farewell dinner in an intimate setting, where you’ll be personally hosted by the chef and his mother for a heartfelt evening of home-style hospitality and inspired contemporary Oaxacan cuisine.

  • Departure
    Private transfers to the airport based on departure schedule.

How Does Transportation at the Start and End of the Trip Work?

Upon arrival at Oaxaca International Airport (OAX), a member of our team will greet you and connect you with your private transfer to the hotel. At the end of the journey, we will arrange morning transportation back to the airport based on your departure schedule.
