The Story Behind Amble

Amble Journeys was founded by Tina Finan — traveller, food and wine enthusiast, and corporate CFO who spent years travelling the world for work and for pleasure.

Through those years of travel, Tina noticed a gap. There were plenty of luxury tours offering five-star hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants. But what was harder to find — almost impossible to book — was the kind of access that transforms a holiday into something you carry with you for the rest of your life. A private lunch with a winemaker on his family estate. A mezcal tasting in an Oaxacan producer's workshop. Dinner cooked for you in someone's home.

These experiences existed. They just required relationships that most travellers, and most tour operators, simply didn't have.

With a CFO's eye for detail and a traveller's instinct for what genuinely matters, Tina set about building something different. A company where every journey is meticulously organised and effortlessly relaxed, where the access is real, and where luxury is defined not by the number of stars on a hotel, but by the depth of the experience and the quality of the connections made along the way.
